We’re closed for vacation September 1-17. Back refreshed and full of creative ideas for you on September 18.
OUR STORY
Stop by and meet Chris and Bill, the owners of Ferdinand Jewelers. We are a mom and pop, brick and mortar business located in New Providence, New Jersey since 1984.

Chris is the mom and Bill is the pop! Bill grew up in the jewelry industry. His grandfather opened a store and his father followed after him. But we did not inherit our store. We started Ferdinand Jewelers from the ground up. We are not just a jewelry store, but an integral part of the community and peoples’ lives. Our customers really matter to us and we have developed lifetime relationships with so many of them.
It’s an honor to make engagement rings and wedding bands that mark and symbolize a lifetime of love. It’s a thrill to help our customers celebrate the big moments in their lives along with the little ones… because it is those little moments in life that are really the stuff! We appreciate the trust and friendships that grace us because of our store.

And now for the jewelry part... We have a beautiful selection of jewelry in our store, and if you don’t see something you like, we can get it or make it for you. We can design and build your dream jewelry whatever that may be and repair or repurpose your heirlooms and favorites. One of Chris’s specialties is reinventing what you consider your uglies and turning them into beauties.
We also have a very large selection of estate and vintage jewelry, a specialty of our online store.
COMMITMENT TO COMMUNITY
We are not just a jewelry store but an integral part of the community. We support local events and fundraisers, participate in town sponsored events, and even bring Santa and Mrs. Claus to the Christmas Walk every year. You know that Cheers song, "Everybody knows your name?" That's Ferdinand Jewelers, a community presence that everybody knows and trusts.
In 2008, Chris and Bill Ferdinand founded the Operation Bling Foundation whose mission is to bring cheer to cancer patients by giving them sparkling jewels free of charge during their cancer journey. Inpatient and outpatient women, men and pediatric oncology patients are "blinged" by OBF angels - social workers, nurses, techs and patient liaisons at hospitals/oncology centers, or just friends of Operation Bling. The Foundation operates in eight area hospitals and oncology centers.
